Fits the standard 1-1/8" spuds commonly used for light stands and allows you to utilize these fixtures on the studio grid pipes. The Slim-Claw fits 1-1/2" pipe (1.9" OD) and 2" tubing without needing hand tools to hang the light fixture to the grid.
